Evang Liz Orr is from Hampton, SC and is married to George, her wonderful husband of 31 years. They have three adult sons, and two grandchildren. She received formal training in the word of God from Lahairoi Bible College in Augusta, Georgia. Evang. Orr accepted the Lord in 1995 and experienced God's Transforming Power! A few months after her conversion, she stood at a crossroad wherein it would have been easy for her to have turned back, but the Lord– the Master, heard her cry and overshadowed her with His presence in such a way that every uncertainty was erased. Her initial decision for Christ remained intact, and she has never been the same. In February of 2000 she was ordained as a minister of the Gospel, and later as an evangelist. “Sister-to-Sister” a women's fellowship in Allendale, SC, was birthed as she shared the love of Christ while getting her hair done in 2009. She can be heard on WBHC 92.1FM, the Bro. Smith Gospel Show, at 5:00pm on 1st & 3rd Sundays. She is a member of Kingdom Touch Ministries, Pastors Jerome & Crystal Lewis. Evang. Orr worked as a payroll accountant for LeCreuset of America until diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer on May 10, 2011. BUT, she preached – she praised – she prayed her way through! After 63 chemo treatments and two major surgeries, she has a testimony that confirms God's Word, “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness.” (Proverbs 18:14) The Lord directed her to Jeremiah 30:12 the day after her diagnosis: “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord.” She has and is experiencing his restoration power daily.
