Flow: The Art of Spoken Word with guests Darrell Mitchell and Erica Lindsay

Spoken Word is poetry intended for onstage performance, rather than exclusively designed for the page. While often associated with hip-hop culture, it also has strong ties to storytelling, modern poetry, post- modern performance, and monologue theatre, as well as jazz, blues, and folk music. This episode is dedicated to the art of Spoken Word and will include a discussion with Author/Poet Darrell Mitchell and Event Promoter Erica Lindsay. Two Los Angeles based individuals who create platforms where artists can share their gifts.
