We have a couple of returning guests this morning, Shauna McKelvey and Darrell Lippman.
Shaunna McKelvey was born and raised in Manhattan Beach and has spent 20 years in the food,
beverage and hospitality industry. Shaunna relocated to Southern Florida after high school where she
had the opportunity to manage several nightclubs and lounges in one of the country's most exciting
nightlife locations: South Beach, Florida. She returned to Los Angeles to attend UCLA where she earned
her Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. Shaunna has worked her way to General Manager, a position she has held for
three years. She is inspired by her work, her team and the incredible opportunities Shade Hotel has
offered her. In her spare time, you can find her engaged in one of her many favorite activities: running,
yoga, pilates and wine drinking!
Darrell Lippman is a journalist with more than 20 years of experience in trade magazine publishing and
content management,
This morning we’ll be discussing the quarterly Chamber publication, the annual hospitality issue, the
state of the local hospitality industry and recent trends.
